When Can I Register?

You may register any time if the program has space. This includes future programs up to 3 years in advance.

How Do I Register

To register send an email to betty@moxart.org. Please include your name (or the name of the soloist if different); address and phone number; your background; which concerto and which movements you wish to play. If you are new to Moxart, follow this up with a video of your playing. You can play whatever you like, to show us you are capable of doing a satisfactory job on the concerto you choose.

A non-refundable $1000 deposit is required to hold your reservation. Qualified applicants will be accepted in the order of deposit received, until the program is full. Additional qualified applicants can be waitlisted on request, in case an opening occurs.

Final Payment

Payment of the remainder of the estimated cost is due 6 months before the orchestra conductor begins distributing music; that timeframe varies among the orchestras. This is so that Moxart can find a replacement if you drop out.

Dropouts

If you do not pay the entire fee on time and have not made other arrangements, we will consider that you have dropped out and seek a replacement for you. If you drop out after you have paid the fee, we will seek a replacement for you. If we find a replacement we will refund your fee minus the $1000 deposit and minus an additional $1000 to compensate for our extra work; we will refund the remainder of your fee. If we cannot find a replacement, we will not make any refunds.
